Nemo.bil Inyo CAB

A Major Investment in the Future of Transit

The NeMo.bil innovation project, where INYO Mobility serves as the consortium leader, has received an additional €1.2 million in funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. This financial boost allows us to accelerate our progress in autonomous driving and make a significant contribution to the evolution of transit through our innovative mobility system.

Working alongside over 20 partners from industry and science, we are developing new models for individual public transport. The core of our mission is the development of our electrically powered, autonomous lightweight vehicle, designed to be sustainable, networked, and demand-responsive.

Testing Edge Cases for a Scalable Innovative Mobility System

With this additional funding, we can now intensify our autonomous test drives with safety drivers on public roads. This phase is crucial for the success of our innovative mobility system, as it focuses on:

  • Proving Edge Cases: Testing extraordinary and complex traffic situations to ensure maximum reliability.

  • Data Collection: Gathering valuable real-world data to refine our autonomous algorithms.

  • System Integration: Ensuring our swarm-capable approach works seamlessly in real traffic.

NeMo.bil aims to create a solution that makes the "first and last mile" of public transport efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly. By combining autonomous technologies with a flexible, swarm-based strategy, we provide an innovative mobility system that meets individual needs while contributing to long-term sustainability.

Setting New Standards Together

We would like to thank the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action for their trust. Together with our partners, we look forward to setting new benchmarks in the mobility sector and proving that the future of transit is already under construction.
