6. Fonts

7. Data Processing: INYO Mobility Test Vehicles
Collaboration with FZI Karlsruhe: 

Our test vehicles are operated in scientific collaboration with the FZI Research Center for Information Technology (FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik, Karlsruhe). For the purposes of research and development of automated driving functions, INYO Mobility GmbH and FZI Karlsruhe may act as Joint Controllers(Art. 26 GDPR).

 

Privacy Notice for Sensor Data & Video
Our test vehicles are equipped with various sensors, including Radar, LiDAR, GPS, and video cameras. During test drives, the vehicle's surroundings are recorded for research and development purposes.

 

Purpose of Processing
The data is used to develop and improve algorithms for assisted, connected, and autonomous driving functions. Our systems focus on object classification (e.g., "pedestrian", "vehicle") and are not designed to identify specific individuals. However, recordings may inadvertently contain identifiable features like faces or license plates.

 

Legal Basis
The processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR). Our interest is the safe development of automated driving technology.

 

Storage and Transfer
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the research purpose. Data may be shared with research partners under strict confidentiality and purpose-binding agreements. If data is processed outside the EU, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

 

Transparency
All test vehicles are clearly marked with stickers indicating that video and sensor recording is in progress.
