From Vision to Industry Recognition

Big news for the INYO Mobility team: The NeMo.bil project has been honored with the German Mobility Award in the category "New Mobility Solutions"! As the consortium leader and the developer of the innovative INYO CABs, we are incredibly proud of this prestigious recognition.

What started as an idea on paper three years ago has evolved into a pioneering mobility concept. Together with our partners, we are developing a completely new solution for rural areas—regions where traditional public transport often reaches its limits. Receiving the German Mobility Award confirms our approach: rethinking mobility with a dedicated focus on the needs of underserved communities.

Our Core Role: The INYO CAB as the Heart of the System

The INYO CABs are the centerpiece of the NeMo.bil concept. Thanks to their innovative lightweight construction, our vehicles are exceptionally efficient and flexible—exactly what is needed for "First and Last Mile" connectivity. By providing the comfort of a private car with the sustainability of public transit, we are creating a truly individualized public transport experience.

The strength of the INYO CAB lies in its versatility. It serves as an on-demand, resource-saving solution that solves the economic challenges of low-density rural transit.

A Holistic System for the Future of Transit

The NeMo.bil project combines three innovative components into one German Mobility Award-winning system:

  1. INYO CABs: Energy-efficient, lightweight vehicles forming the backbone of the system.

  2. Scalable Control Level: An intelligent digital platform that coordinates trips and optimizes resources in real-time.

  3. NeMo.bil Pro System: Larger "towing" vehicles that act as mobile charging stations and allow the Cabs to travel in a high-efficiency convoy over long distances.

A Word of Thanks

This success is the result of close collaboration between many dedicated partners. We would like to extend our special thanks to:

  • Our project partners for their innovative spirit.

  • The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action for their funding and trust.

  • The TÜV Rheinland project management agency for their reliable support.

  • The Jury and the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport for this high-level recognition.

Looking Ahead

Winning the German Mobility Award isn't just a celebration of what we’ve achieved—it’s a catalyst for the future. With the INYO CAB and the NeMo.bil system, we are building a world where sustainable, autonomous mobility is a reality for everyone, everywhere.
