Reshaping Public Transport at the UITP Global Summit

The global public transport community recently gathered in Hamburg for the UITP Global Public Transport Summit. With over 10,000 experts from more than 100 countries in attendance, it was the ideal stage to showcase the INYO CAB—our compact, autonomous lightweight shuttle designed for both individual and shared mobility.

A key takeaway from the summit: while the industry frequently defaults to traditional, large-scale bus systems, there is a critical gap in the market. Especially in underserved or rural regions, an autonomous lightweight shuttle like the INYO CAB is essential to bridge the "last mile" gap economically and efficiently.

MOVE London: Solving the Challenge of Underserved Communities

Following Hamburg, we headed to the MOVE Conference in London, a premier event hosting 5,000 international decision-makers, government officials, and tech pioneers. This year, the focus was undeniably on the scaling of autonomous mobility.

INYO was invited to join the expert panel: “Connecting underserved communities: the latest in demand-responsive transit (DRT) and BRT.” Alongside partners from the UK and Poland, we discussed how our autonomous lightweight shuttle enables flexible door-to-door connections that traditional transit cannot provide. The session sparked vital conversations and laid the groundwork for several upcoming international pilot projects.

The Verdict: Autonomous Mobility is Here

The overwhelming international interest in our technology confirms our vision. Engaging with industry leaders, partners, and innovators has made one thing clear: the transition to smarter, autonomous transit isn't a distant dream—it’s happening. Now!
